Automatically when you use the Site, through cookies, pixels, analytics, and advertising technologies described in Section 6.

From third parties such as advertising and lead-referral partners who share your inquiry with us after you request information about bathroom remodeling, and service providers who help us verify or enrich contact information.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

Respond to your inquiries and schedule and conduct in-home consultations and estimates.

Prepare proposals, design your project, order materials, and complete your remodel.

Communicate with you about your project, appointments, and service, including by phone, email, and text message.

Send you promotions, offers, and updates where you have agreed to receive them (see Section 7).

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as described here:

Service providers that perform functions on our behalf, such as customer relationship management, telephone and text messaging, scheduling, website hosting, job photo documentation, analytics, and marketing. These providers are contractually limited to using your information to provide services to us.

Financing partners when you ask us to submit a financing application.

Trade partners and suppliers as needed to order materials and complete your project.

Advertising and analytics platforms, such as Google and Meta, through cookies and pixels on the Site (see Section 6). Under California law, some of these disclosures may be treated as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out as described in Section 11.

Legal and safety disclosures when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of California Bathrooms, our customers, or others.

Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Technologies

The Site uses cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to make the Site work, understand how it is used, and support our advertising. These may include analytics and advertising tools provided by third parties such as Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) and Meta (the Meta Pixel). These tools may collect your IP address, device and browser information, and information about the pages you view and the actions you take on the Site, and may transmit that information to the third-party provider.

You can control cookies and tracking through the consent tool presented on the Site and through your browser settings. Where required, we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for the browser on which it is enabled.

You can also opt out of certain advertising cookies through the tools offered by the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info and adjust ad settings directly with Google and Meta. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site functions.

7. Text Messaging (SMS and MMS)

If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, California Bathrooms may send you text messages related to your inquiry, appointments, project, and, where you have consented, promotions and offers.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You are not required to agree to receive marketing texts in order to buy anything from us.

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP to any message at any time. You may receive one final message confirming your opt-out.

For help, reply HELP or contact us at (619) 649-8918 or privacy@californiabathroom.com.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not share mobile phone numbers collected for text messaging with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your consent to receive text messages is used only to deliver the messages described here.

8. Phone Calls and Call Recording

We may record or monitor phone calls with our team for quality, training, and record-keeping. California is a two-party consent state, which means we will notify you at the start of a call if it may be recorded. If you do not wish to be recorded, tell us and we will continue without recording or arrange another way to communicate.

9. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to serve you, complete and warranty your project, maintain business and financial records, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

10. Your California Privacy Rights

Depending on your circumstances and applicable law, California residents may have the following rights regarding personal information we hold about them:

Right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.

Right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.

Right to correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (see Section 11).

Right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information, to the extent we process any.

Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights. We will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a right.

How to exercise your rights

Submit a request by emailing privacy@californiabathroom.com or calling (619) 649-8918. To protect your information, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before fulfilling a request, which may include confirming information we already have on file. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.

We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days. If we need more time, we will notify you and may extend our response by up to an additional 45 days.

11. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. Because the Site uses third-party advertising and analytics cookies, some disclosures may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. To opt out:

Use the cookie consent controls on the Site to decline advertising and analytics cookies.

Enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) in a supported browser or extension, which we honor as an opt-out request for that browser.

Email us at privacy@californiabathroom.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information."

12. California "Shine the Light"

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request, once per year, information about personal information we disclosed to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing. To make an inquiry, contact us at privacy@californiabathroom.com.

13. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and destruction. Information you submit through the Site is transmitted using encryption. Access to personal information within our organization is limited to team members who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at privacy@californiabathroom.com and we will delete it.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
